हमीरपुर में 30 करोड़ से बनेगा अत्याधुनिक सड़क सुरक्षा नियंत्रण एवं कमांड सेंटरः सीएम सुक्खू
मुख्यमंत्री ठाकुर सुखविंद्र सिंह सुक्खू ने कहा कि सरकार हमीरपुर में लगभग 30 करोड़ रुपये की लागत से समेकित सड़क सुरक्षा प्रवर्तन प्रणाली के तहत एक अत्याधुनिक सड़क सुरक्षा नियंत्रण एवं कमांड सेंटर स्थापित करेगी। यह सेंटर प्रदेश भर में लगाए जा रहे आधुनिक कैमरों से जुड़ा होगा। उन्होंने कहा कि पुलिस विभाग द्वारा इस प्रणाली का उपयोग ई-चालान, यातायात की निगरानी एवं सड़कों पर अनुशासन और सुरक्षा सुनिश्चित करने के लिए किया जाएगा। उन्होंने कहा कि यह केन्द्र न केवल सड़क सुरक्षा को मजबूती प्रदान करेगा बल्कि राज्य के लिए अतिरिक्त राजस्व सृजित करने में सहायक होगा।
मुख्यमंत्री ठाकुर सुखविंद्र सिंह सुक्खू ने यह बात शिमला से 66 पैट्रोलिंग वाहनों को हरी झंडी दिखाने के बाद कही। ये सुरक्षा वाहन प्रदेश के 10 जिलों शिमला, मण्डी, कांगड़ा, हमीरपुर, ऊना, बिलासपुर, कुल्लू, सिरमौर, सोलन और चंबा के विभिन्न पुलिस थानों में तैनात किए जा रहे हैं। 18.42 करोड़ की लागत से खरीदे गए इन वाहनों में 35 इलैक्ट्रिक वाहन, 14 इंटसेप्टर वाहन, 10 रैकर वाहन तथा 7 डब्ल्यूडी डीजल वाहन शामिल हैं।
इस अवसर पर मुख्यमंत्री ने कहा कि वर्तमान प्रदेश सरकार का लक्ष्य न केवल सड़क दुर्घटनाओं को कम करना है बल्कि प्रदेश की जनता के लिए सुरक्षित एवं आपदा प्रतिरोधी यातायात प्रणाली विकसित करना भी है। उन्होंने कहा कि पिछले तीन वर्षों में सड़क दुर्घटनाओं में लगातार गिरावट दर्ज की गई है।
मुख्यमंत्री ने कहा कि यह सकारात्मक परिवर्तन पुलिस, परिवहन विभाग, लोक निर्माण विभाग, हिमाचल प्रदेश सड़क एवं अधोसंरचना विकास निगम, स्वास्थ्य विभाग तथा अन्य संबंधित एजेंसियों के संयुक्त प्रयासों से ही संभव हो पाया है। उन्होंने कहा कि रैकर वाहनों की तैनाती से दुर्घटनाओं के पश्चात वाहनों को शीघ्र हटाकर सड़कों पर यातायात शीघ्र सामान्य करने में मदद मिलेगी।
सड़क सुरक्षा उपकरणों की खरीद पर 60 करोड़ व्यय कर रही सरकार
मुख्यमंत्री ने कहा कि हिमाचल प्रदेश स्टेट रोड़ ट्रांसर्फोमेशन परियोजना के अन्तर्गत प्रदेश में सड़क सुरक्षा में अनेक सुधारात्मक पग उठाए जा रहे हैं उन्होंने कहा कि परियोजना के तहत पुलिस विभाग के लिए 3373 सड़क सुरक्षा प्रवर्तन उपकरणों की खरीद के लिए लगभग 60 करोड़ व्यय किए जा रहे हैं। उन्होंने कहा कि इन उपकरणों को राज्य के 10 जिलों में वितरित किया जाएगा, जिससे प्रदेश में सड़क सुरक्षा व्यवस्था और सुदृढ़ होगी। उन्होंने कहा कि पुलिस विभाग को अत्याधुनिक सुविधाओं से लैस किया जाएगा ताकि हिमाचल प्रदेश की पुलिस को देश में नम्बर एक बनाया जा सके। उन्होंने कहा कि पुलिस विभाग में 1200 कांस्टेबलों की भर्ती की गई है तथा आठ साल बाद राज्य सरकार द्वारा पुलिस प्रमोशन के लिए बी-1 टैस्ट करवाया जा रहा है। उन्होंने कहा कि पुलिस विभाग चिट्टे के नशे की रोकथाम के लिए प्रदेश भर में सराहनीय कार्य कर रहा है। प्रदेश भर में चिट्टे के खिलाफ बड़ा अभियान शुरू करने जा रहा है।
